Valentina met Hernandez at the room and somehow Hernandez sweet talk our way into the room. So strange though they way he handled it. Now time to check out this possibly cannibalistic/vampire fellow.

I went a bit longer so we can get back into this story again.

They both entered the room, dark and dreary with the curtains closed and only the light from the built in light attached to the bed, illuminating the room enough to see where they stepped.

The room had an odor and it felt… Well, the only way she could describe it was the aura of the room felt heavy and dark like the weight of the world had landed on her shoulders and she could barely stand straight.

Chills ran down her spine, but for some reason she felt compelled to step closer to the bed as if invisible hands were pulling her. The man was laying there both hands cuffed to the bed railings on either side of him.

His eyes were closed and his chest rose and fell with an even rhythm, making it appear as if the man was asleep. As she inched closer, she noticed he hadn’t been washed.

His face still was smeared with blood, but his clothing had been removed since he wore a hospital gown.

“Hernandez, do you know who his doctor is?”

Xander,” he told her.

Oh, crap.”
