Snippet Sunday ~ Be My Everything Valentine’s Day Collection

Happy Sunday everyone!!!

So excited to continue more of my story Afterlife with you.

If you haven’t already, catch up on my last snippet here >>> Snippet Sunday 6/19/2016

After closing last night, I came straight home to relax and wrap my head around everything. Marshall went to check on his father. It’s really the only thing he could do. It sickened me to think Marshall’s father could be next to die.

When I awoke and readied for Jax’s arrival, Marshall was already waiting for me. Spirits have no sense of time and as far as I know, they don’t sleep. Marshall seemed to have gotten the hang of being a spirit and was able to sit without just disappearing through the couches or floating up to the ceiling like a balloon. He even learned how to change his clothes.

He wore a cranberry-red buttoned down shirt and dark blue jeans and black ankle
high boots. Very Marshall and I liked the look. He wore it well. When Marshall noticed me, he straightened in his seat and gave me the saddest smile.

Great, I’m barely awake and I already know I’ll need more coffee. Way more coffee.

Thank you for stopping by. Come back every Friday to join me while I spill about my favorite books and authors.

Love the lines about the coffee. I think she might need some Excedrin Migraine along with it.

  10. Spirits can change clothes? Awesome! LOL. It sounds like she’s going to need more than just that coffee though. It’s just a perfect response for seeming stressed too.
