Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. Even to the dads of fur babies.
Today we are picking back up where we left off last week. Scotlynn told her boyfriend Jax about how her ex fiancee, Marshall is needing their help to put his killer behind bars. Jax’s response is the best. Of course he is going to help.
She could always count on him. “I was wondering if you could look into his accident for me. Marshall told me he knows his stepmother is responsible and she had an accomplice, her boyfriend.”
“I can see what I can do, Scotlynn, let me ask around. I’m off at 6am, then I’ll come over. Coffee and bagels?” he said softly.
“You really do know me, don’t you? See you then. Be safe out there. Love you to infinity and seriously thanks, a million times.” I hung up and gave the thumbs up to Marshall. A smile washed over him.
I really hope Jax can find something, and soon. Having Marshall here – even though it’s in spirit form – is sure bringing up old feelings. Not the good feelings either. Something about this whole thing makes me nervous.
My psychic side is tingling. Just a matter of time ’til something comes to the surface and then I’ll know what has me wishing the case was solved already.
Thanks to Jax hopefully Scotlynn wont have to feel these feeling much longer. Wonder what could have her psychic senses tingling?
Friday I shared with everyone on of my favorite authors and much more. Stop by and check it out, you won’t be disappointed I promise.
Shortly after her sixteenth birthday, Sunshine Griffith and her mother Kat move from sunny Austin, Texas, to the rain-drenched town of Ridgemont, Washington. Though Sunshine is adopted, she and her mother have always been close, sharing a special bond filled with laughter and inside jokes. But from the moment they arrive, Sunshine feels her world darken with an eeriness she cannot place. And even if Kat doesn’t recognize it, Sunshine knows that something about their new house is just … creepy.
In the days that follow, things only get stranger. Sunshine is followed around the house by an icy breeze, phantom wind slams her bedroom door shut, and eventually, the laughter Sunshine hears on her first night evolves into sobs. She can hardly believe it, but as the spirits haunting her house become more frightening—and it becomes clear that Kat is in danger—Sunshine must accept what she is, pass the test before her, and save her mother from a fate worse than death.
