Snippet Sunday: At First Snowfall #snippetsunday #SPeekSunday #8Sunday

Welcome Back Everyone!

Today is Snippet #16 from my newly published story! I’m so excited to have you read it!

Today I’ll be sharing a snippet from my newly published story At First Snowfall.
I thought I would take a break from my Dia de los Muertos ~ Day of the Dead and show you a glimpse into my new story for Christmas time. Hope you enjoy the snippet.

We’re jumping ahead a few paragraphs.

Adelaide realizes Victoria has the stone of Galant, which gives her power over others. She knows this isn’t good for Alexander and her, and most definitely not for the kingdom.  Alexander is arguing with his brother.

“Watch what you say, brother,” Alexander said, “I am your elder and the rightful heir to the throne, and I am not going anywhere.”

Adelaide’s gaze riveted to Alexander in disbelief. “Alex, you said you’d leave with me, and more than ever, we must go now before it’s too late,” Adelaide pleaded.

“No, Addy,” he said and turned toward her, “I must stand my ground. Victoria will be thrown out of the castle and forced to live in the dark forest. My father will be on our side don’t worry.”

“That’s where you’re wrong, Alexander. Your father is dead,” Victoria gladly gave the news, and laughed.

Oh no, the King is dead!
